NOW?

Well...NOW might be a bit of a stretch - but, it's not too far off.

Personally:

I'm working on four book ideas. I KNOW, one is daunting enough! I guess I'm a glutton for punishment?!? One of the books I'm working on relates to my 'Market YOU First!' project. With that project, I coach people to sell themselves, not what they sell! With that in mind, I've decided to treat myself as a client and break free from being a "Shoeless Cobbler" * (where I complete client tasks but neglect my needs).

* After giving it some thought, I'm moving away from referring to focusing on client needs and neglecting my own as being a 'Shoeless Cobbler.' Cobblers don't MAKE shoes; they REPAIR them. So, from now on, I'm going to call this practice as being a 'Cobbler in Tattered Shoes.'


I'm learning how to do Instagram Reels and TikToks. It appears you can teach an old dog new tricks! I've been online since there was an online (Way BEFORE AOL/American Online), but I'm more proficient on Facebook, X, and LinkedIn than on other social platforms the "kids" use.

Have you or someone you know ever joined a network marketing company? If your answer is no—great! You probably don’t have any preconceived notions about the industry and might stick with me here. If your answer is yes, well… your opinion could fall anywhere on the spectrum—good, bad, or somewhere in between. Either way, hear me out.

I fall into the latter category. My network marketing journey began in 1987 when I sold pre-paid long-distance phone cards (yes, I’ve been around the block!). Since then, I’ve marketed just about everything—additives, pills, potions, lotions, shakes, stop-smoking kits, fire extinguishers, learning programs, and more. I’m no newbie fired up with unbridled enthusiasm; I’ve been there, done that, and have the lanyards from countless company conventions to prove it! While I never completely ruled out network marketing, my past experiences left me skeptical. Though I still believed in the potential and opportunities the industry offers, I wasn’t looking to dive back in.

That changed in early 2023 when a close friend I’d worked with before told me about an exciting new network marketing company. At the time, it didn’t even have a name! Ordinarily, I’d have been running the other way, wallet firmly in hand, but I respected my friend enough to hear him out. As he shared more details, I found myself intrigued—so much so that in May 2023, I decided to join as a Founder.

So why are you just now hearing about this from me? I wanted to take a measured approach. Rather than letting my initial excitement take over, I observed and evaluated what the company would do before sharing it with others. Fast forward to today: the company is approaching its two-year anniversary, has surpassed $100 million in sales, and is well beyond the “show-me” stage. Now, I’m ready to share it with the masses.
