And no – I wasn’t voted off of Survivor.

So what Tribe – or this case TRIBES – am I referring to?  Seth Godin’s Concept and Book of the same name – that’s what!

Mr. Godin states that – Our role today is to find, connect,  and lead tribes in order to make change happen.

And when it comes to making change happen – there’s a group online that’s getting ready to EXPLODE in a huge way!

If you’re a fan of Seinfeld – you might remember the episode where Jerry, Kramer, and Newman were on the stakeout talking about how Tuesday “..had no feel“.  And if you think about it – it’s true.

For most people -

Monday is the beginning of the week.  Some people even get a “Case Of The Mondays” on this day.

Wednesday is the middle of the week or “Hump Day“.

Thursday is like being on deck for the end of the week –  and the start of the Weekend.

Friday is the end of the week, the official start to the Weekend, and in many cases – “Pay Day“.  And if you’re a Social Media Geek like me – it’s when you recommend and share friends on Twitter for Follow Friday / #FollowFriday / #FF.

But what about Tuesday?  Like the Seinfeld Crew argued – it really DOESN’T have a feel or real purpose.

At least it didn’t!  Because that’s all about to change!

I give you that analogy to show that without traffic – NOTHING matters!

That’s right!  Even though it’s important to have great videos, articles, Blog Posts, audios, and content in general – if nobody’s there to SEE it – it doesn’t matter!

So how do you get people to your content?

Right off the top – besides tools that assist in the Self-Syndication Marketing of content such as Traffic Geyser – I’ll be referring to Sweat Equity Efforts as opposed to buying and/or paying to drive traffic.

With that said – if you make ALL of the above (Videos, Articles, Blog Posts, Audios, ect…) content informative and at the same – link it all together – you have an almost perfect formula for success.

In addition to traffic – you also need to have consistency.  And that’s where something like the EzineArticle.com HAHD (Hundred Articles Hundred Days) Challenge comes in.  It pushes you to get content out in a timely manner.

That consistency is just as important as traffic!  In fact – it’s MORE important!

How many times do you think the same people will come to your YouTube Page to see the same videos?

How many times do you think the same people will com to your Twitter Page to see the same Tweets?

And the same goes for your Blog Posts, Audios, Articles, and ALL other content!

You NEED to have a combination of ALL of the points listed in this Blog Post.

Although we could go on and on about traffic – there’s one last piece of the formula I’d like to mention and that’s the process of “Plan / Do / Review”.  Once you have everything I’ve gone over (And again – this is only the tip of the Iceberg!) in place – realize it has to be adjusted to fit you and your demographic.  What works for me – might not work for you – and vice / versa.   So you need to put stuff out there, see how it works, make adjustments, and try it all again.  And because people change and the way things get prioritized on the Internet change – this process of “Plan / Do / Review” is something you’ll need to constantly tweak.

So in a nutshell – you need to have Consistent and Informative Content linked together with the Total Syndication of Social Media.

In 2006 – Time Magazine picked their Person Of The Year – and guess who it was?

YOU!

That’s right!  Out of ALL the politicians, scientists, CEOs, celebrities, and other amazing people – they chose YOU!

And if you’re important enough to make the Front Cover of Time Magazine – don’t you think you have a brand that you should make the world aware of?

The answer is – ABSOLUTELY YES!!!

Stop being a Secret Agent about yourself and/or standing being another brand!

Get out there and turn yourself into the brand recognition of whatever your passion is!

Gary Vaynerchuk did it with Wine.

Kleenex did it with Facial Tissue.

David Copperfield did it with Magic.

And YOU can do it with whatever YOUR passion is!

And with the Total Syndication opportunities we have available to us today – such as Blogging, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and RSS (Really Simple Syndication) – there’s NO excuse as to why you can’t get yourself known as an authority in a short amount of time!
