Prosperity Cast Network and Val Smyth

And when the MIM Online Magazine was introduced – I was the #1 Earner and had the largest organization in that as well. I was THE Poster Child and Head Cheerleader for the “opportunity”.
What’s with all the “Was” and “Had” references? It’s all past tense now.
Both PCN (Prosperity Cast Network) and MIM Online Magazine are billed as being LIFETIME Memberships. But guess what? They aren’t!
Because of continued issues with both programs not being resolved - I told the founder (And my Sponsor in both) owner Val Smyth – I wouldn’t be marketing it, continuing on in a Leadership Position, attending the upcoming Inner Circle Summit in Cancun, and that I’d just be watching from behind the scenes until things were resolved. Upon receiving this news – he told me that, “Behind the scenes does not help me.” I’d like to point out – the “ME” in that previous statement. Not that wouldn’t be best for YOU or for the other members – but “ME”.
Members of PCN have a Social Network available to them called PCTV. And even though it’s geared toward PCN – it’s generic in nature in that you can advertise ANYTHING you’re part of. Or at least that’s what you’re told. WRONG! There are almost 700 members in PCTV – many of which I’ve added as friends. I sent out ONE message to the people that had accepted my Friend Request – and upon doing so was kicked out of BOTH PCN and MIM Online Magazine. Remember those? The “LIFETIME” Memberships.
I’ve since seen messages sent to the members telling them – I betrayed Val, SPAM’d Members, did my own program behind his back, and several other claims equally ridiculous as the next! I’ll answer that claim with one word. BOLOGNA! There isn’t one true claim among the lot of em’!
Now since I paid for a lifetime – and was cut short several decades to say the least - I told Val he could either reactivate my memberships or refund me the money. His response was, “Sorry Wes – You can refund me and apologize to all the people you pissed off.” Nice huh? That sorta response along with his famous, “People aren’t going to come to Canada and sue me.” – are old hat from this well polished con!
One of his famous quotes whenever speaking about something other than what he’s doing is brought up – is, “…it leaves too many dead bodies…”. Let’s take a look at that statement for sec. Just over the last 5 years – he’s been responsible for A LOT of “dead bodies” along the way! What happened to the 141,000 members of Mentors In Motion? This industry has a very accurate failure rate of approximately 97% – so even with it being bumped to 99% there SHOULD be a minimum of 1410 EXTREMELY successful and satisfied people following him in his current ventures (Especially since he offered to Grandfather EVERYONE currently in Mentors In Motion into PCN for $100) - but PCN and MIM combined don’t even have a quarter of that! And what about Amigo, MIM Online Magazine – Version 1, and X2O? Dead bodies, dead bodies, and oh yeah – dead bodies! This con should have been a Mortician!
He also likes to claim his forte is being a master of Call Centers – yet in the last decade he hasn’t implemented one. He does however like to point out Call Centers that are failures. Guess who ran it? One of Val’s most successful – and nowhere to be found associating with him – STUDENTS!!!
And lastly – he loves to talk about his ability to drive people to conference calls. I’m guessing that’s when he shows up for em’. He has a tendacy to be late and/or missing in action quite a bit! But when he does show – and you take away the members on the call – you’re lucky to have more than you can count on one hand that are new. Hmmmm?
Just like everyone else currently following Val – I fell for his line of bull hook, line, and sinker! I fully admit it – and I’m sickened and embarrassed to do so! But it’s easy to do! He really draws you in with the whole Master of The Master Key System and I’m out to help the little guy talk! Val is a Master Manipulator and Expert Liar – willing to do whatever it takes so long as he’s on top in the end.
Any way. I’d left PCN and MIM Online Magazine months before I was dismembered – so all he did was make things official for me. So thank you Val!
And now for those of you still there and/or looking at either Prosperity Cast Network or MIM Online Magazine – I’ll leave you with a quote straight from the great leader that’s out to help the little guy himself – from the 08/10/2008 Sunday Night Training Call:
“We’re going to do everything we can to separate ourselves from all the S-H-I-T out there. We want to weed out everyone that needs to be weeded out over the next 6 months – and then bring in Wave 2. (Note: Yes - weed out people that have paid lifetime memberships!) The first wave always sucks – just so you know that – in any business opportunity. The first wave comes in and then you find a way to get rid of em’. I hate to tell you that. So I hope those of you that are sincere - you stay – but you know some of you that are on this line right now listening to me – you’re probably – you may – not even be here 6 months from now. It’s not going to be my fault. It’s just that it’s going to be too hard too tough for ya’ – it really is! The only reason why a person quits is because they suck. Honestly – if you go right down to the hard core of it – it’s because they suck.”
He found “…a way to get rid of …” me – and outright steal both my downlines.

I told you from the start how his character was, I am sorry you did not listen then, Once a con always a con. he robs from the blind and the weak, everyone stay far away fron Val Smyth.
Val has already hurt SO many people!!!! He is such a liar and thief and downright scoundrel. But no worries. Nature will take care of mongrels like him itself. It already has anyway. No proffesional in the online industry has a good opinion of Val anymore!
I see Val very soon most likely ending up in prison.

I appreciate your post and your honesty here! I know that in the past you have made some unpopular comments/posts about some of the folks who left Val early on. I’m sorry you too had to learn the hard way.
Maybe now you can move on and re-build some of those relationships.
I can say that I was on exactly 2 sorry make that 3 calls with Val.
One I was told I could use PCN to promote any opportunity I was in and how it would help to build my primary to be bigger and better. Yup! The 3 way “sales pitch”. Which Val is very good at by the way. Smooth/Slick Scammer/Con!
Two I learned about setting up Paypal! Gimme a break! Are you kidding me? We paid $2,000 for this shit?
Two all I heard was how we should ONLY be promoting PCN. How our videos were unprofessional. How our team was never going to make it promoting the way we did.
I never got on another of his calls after that! He can have my money because obviously he’s going to need it way more than I am.

The sad part is that Val ruined what PCN could have been. Not everone is a stupid as he thinks. It’s not hard to see the Psychology behind the Psychology that he uses to put himself in a position of power. Everything from the “Martial Arts” references which he uses as a form of Psychological intimidation, to his supposed “Mastery” of the Master Key System, which he contradicts the philosophy of by the way he talks down to people. I would not be at all supprised if he laughs at us for believeing in the MKS because after all, it’s just a product that he peddles.
There are many more contradicitions, un- answered questions and things that don’t add up but will most likely go un-answered because he is the GREAT and POWERFUL OZ.

I am really sorry this all came down on so many of us and I applaud you for taking action here in your blog. Kudos to you my friend. I think one of the saddest things is when the ‘little guy’ so to speak spends his last $2000. only to get slam dunked!! What a bad taste that man leaves in one’s mouth.

Hello Wes, I had people tell me how great pcn was but when i saw val’s videos,he was so full of himself and just got a bad gut feeling on him, so I didn’t join just because it didn’t feel right giving my $2,000 away.
There will be haters when you leave a company,nevermind that. You have to do what is best for you and that is it!

I watched the video you (Val’s Conscience) referenced – and see where you were going with it. Val is every bit the fake that guy is – and worse! He claims to be the Master of The Master Key – and yet fails to practice what he preaches! What’s sick is that he’s brainwashing otherwise great people to behave the same way. But it’s OK – because they’ll learn the hard way – just like I did.
And that Billy Graham Story you mentioned is part of Val’s Mentors In Motion Seminar. He’s trained on it within PCN as well. Of course I’d like to point out – it’s ALL talk! Take away current members of The Prosperity Cast Network and MIM Online Magazine – and the majority of Business Briefings would be EMPTY. And although there are suppose to be hundreds of people in both programs – hearing more than 25-40 on a Training Call is RARE! So Val’s skill at bringing the masses to Conference Calls is BULL! If he was able to do – he would have already done it with these two Sinking Ship Programs. He even did a Special Hour Long Call devoted to me tonight (Sunday 08/17/2008). The invitation email went out to almost 700 people (There may have been more I’m unaware of – but for sure ALL of PCTV – his Ning Social Network) – and guess how many people were on? 36. Pretty sad!
When he’s not crowing about how awesome he is – can he do a great conference call? Absolutely! Can we work people up to go out and take action? You bet! I won’t deny those two points. But just like the guy in this video – it’s ALL for him!

As for Val’s character, well I can say I was associated with Val back in the Amigo health days. Nothing has changed. The one sign of someone better than him interested in joining one of his programs, he will talk noise. I feel that Val had the call because of the response Wes got from his email to his friends. There must of been allot of people that were seriously looking at his new program. Which in turn means money out of Val’s pocket. Then he went into self-defense mode. You know a wounded animal will defend himself to survive. That’s all.

Since con artists look for ways to manipulate strengths and weaknesses they will either paint a picture of wealth and ease, or increase your darkest fears, or a combination of both.
In order to do this, a con artist will play on your sympathies, instill in you a sense of security in dealing with him or her, and distract you from what is really going on using lies laced with enough truth to make the patter believable. Their goal is to make you completely dependent on them.
Part of instilling complete dependency is to make you feel that your world may not be safe without their guidance. Once you realize that none of the promises are forthcoming as you expected, the con artist uses that dependency as a threat. He or she will yank the leash they have wrapped around your survival instincts, using either subtle scare tactics or outright threats.

#2 – Again over and over mentioning if you go against him – he’ll DESTROY you online!! This Master Marketing Einstein didn’t even buy ValSmyth.com – and if he had – wouldn’t have a clue how to access it. He’s a moron when it comes to technology and the Internet!

I’ve heard from reliable sources that Val has multiple lawsuits against him and also that he is about to lose his merchant account because of all the charge backs going through from very unhappy members who have been taken for $2000.00 plus.
People, if you come across this blog before you get suckered in, consider yourself lucky.
You have a much better chance of making money online by taking that 2 grand, throwing it out your window and hoping some of it blows back in.

Val Smyth is a chimp but that would be an offense to all chimps to characterize Val Smyth as a chimp.
This is the bottom line. Val did not make his money online or off line as it was an inheritance from his wife’s side of the family.
Val claims to have 16 homes, well that is true but again this came from his wife’s father.
PCN or prosperity cast network is an empty shell. It’s a very sleek looking sports car but one problem. It has no motor and it has no internal parts. No content and no substance.
If anyone is considering, contemplating or even processing the remote possibility of joining anything that has to do with Val Smyth then they might as well throw the money into a fire because you get the same effect.
You get allot of sparks and heat but everything after is just ash. Just like Val Smyth’s future. Val Smyth is over, he is history. He is done like my last thanksgiving dinner.

Well, the true “masterkey” attitude shows its ugly head… Val Smyth is nothing more than a con man turned used car salesman… and he tried to use the masterkey to hide it…. he just did a really bad job of it.

What’s really sad is the people that are still in PCN trying to act like everything is just “Peachy” and business as usual. When in reality, there is no more PCN because it’s imploding. No more calls, no Val, no nothing. I’m sure in his private moments, Val is scrambling to pick up the pieces and re form PCN, while dealing with mounting legal issues. While on the outside, still trying to act like “Your Daddy”.

Hey, I am glad I read this blog. I thought may be I was wrong. I have been on a few briefing calls. Where is Val? Did he quit doing calls? I keep hearing he has things going on.
Well anyway, the one tonight was a joke. Who was that Guy doing the call? He even brought up another business during the call.
I am so glad I didn’t get involved with this. I pray for everybody that did. I just had a gut feeling to stay away…everybody knows how mother’s intuition is…

It is not about Val, PCN, Mim Online Magazine. It is about the person posting the negative comments to Wes’s Blog.
Everyone is using Val as a Scapegoat. Everyone in here does not want to take responsibility for their own actions. Everyone wants to bash Val. Why not bash yourself for producing crap videos about nothing offering no reason for people watch your videos. People in order for people to sign up with you, You have to teach people something. People have the mentality of sitting back and waiting for someone else to do it for them. Hints why nobody was doing anything! So many hints on how to start building YOURSELF as a professional business builder and giving yourself branding information that no one really wanted to capitalizes on it. Everyone is looking for the magic pill to make millions. Guess what, the only pill is YOU! It makes me wonder why people do not want to get out of the JOB mentality. IF you choose to promote poor business or hang out with negative people, your results will be what you are attracting. Sad to say it is true even for me. It is not easy; it is really tuff to get out of that way of thinking.
Well all I can really say if people want to make any business work. The have to work really hard at it. You don’t see Donald Trump sitting back and waiting for people to make him millions. He takes action everyday. He makes it a PRIORITY to make what he wants come true.
Am I doing everything in my power to make it happen, no. I also need to make my business a PRIORITY!

Sorry to hear about this. I smelled the con during the first month of dealing with Val. He claimed that PCN was to help promote any business, yet on his Sunday leadership calls told everyone they were sending out the wrong message by being involved with any program other than PCN. (The first sign of a conman. No congruency in his message).
When I found out that he is driving a Chrysler in his video that was just icing on the cake. He tries to make it look like a Ferrari or Lambo, but its a Chrysler Crossfire. Where did the tens of millions go that he claims to have made??

I agree with points that Darren made. The videos with Val that show the Lambos, never seem to show Val IN A LAMBO. You always see establishing shots of Lambos driving down the street but never Val inside. ( Maybe Val has a hidden talent BEHIND the camera, hmm could be.)
Never see pics or vids of Val’s “Mansion”. Either we are missing something here or this is just an EXTREME case of “Fake it till you make it”.
Think about it, Val claims he is worth $30-40 Million. 30-40 Mill is ALOT OF MONEY. Even SUCCESSFUL people in the entertainment industry are lucky to see figures like that. Sure, people can have other investments but I just don’t see, even in a successful 15 year run as an online/offline marketer how those figures can be achieved. I can see how someone can make a mid to upper six figure income or even maybe make a FEW million but 30-40, something’s not right.
Here is something in terms of Val’s behavior since all this started. He would still at least have SOME credibility if he carried on as if business as usual, kept the calls going and didn’t tuck tail and run and disappear from the scene. This behavior is an indicator of guilt.
The tragedy of this is that PCN was portrayed as the beacon of hope and the last honest business opportunity and this was how it was promoted, but of course you add in the corruption of man and it ruins it every time.
Now Val Smyth, PCN/MIM become a contributor to the black eye that pleagues this industry and makes it EVEN MORE of an uphill battle for the rest of us. THANKS VAL, THANKS ALOT!!!

It all comes down to our reputation. Once we loose your reputation we have nothing. Not even our own dignity.
I feel for ya Val. Unfortunately you failed to live by what Tony Alessandro calls “The Platinum Rule”:

Apparently you did not follow this rule of the universe.
Had Val not got his hand lopped off in the Cookie Jar – he’d still be going strong!

I was in the background listening a watching for a few months a the first call I listen to the way he spoke to made me think that his not the real deal and now checking back on PCN I finally see why.
1. Real Millionaires don’t talk or promise to make you rich
(That’s your responsibility)
2. Social Engineering People does not work (Didn’t work for Hitler will not work for Val or anyone else)
3. Money doesn’t motivate all people.
I’m one of those people who is not motivated by money, so the sales pitch of making millions bored me to tears I’d rather help people then sell them a membership to something that I wouldn’t even use.

Truth be known – I didn’t even HAVE to expose Val as a con. He ended up doing that himself.
Except for saying he’ll only be doing coaching on a private / 1 on 1 basis (Which is WORTHLESS) – Val hasn’t contacted any of the members that all paid for LIFETIME service since being exposed.
If anyone is reading this – avoid him like the plague!

I was approached by Ed Drost about six months ago just before the Cancun get together. After looking at the program – I smelled fish!!
It has been on my mind. As I remember he was driving a Ferrari – but I always thought that was merely theatrical.
Today I received an email from Ed Drost again promoting another gig by Val Smyth. So I ran a search on his name and came up with this site.
From what I gather – Val is slime – and he should be sued by everyone who was talked into throwing their money down into a bottomless hole.

I’ve been receiving messages all week about accounts still having PayPal Subscriptions Scheduled to be charged – yet PCN is and has been DEAD since I left.
And tonight I received half a dozen messages from from people saying Val was sending messages on behalf of the members for his new program.
Here’s what you and EVERYONE needs to know. Val is a Con Man! Period and Exclamation Mark! DO NOT join ANYTHING under him unless you want to lose your money.

I writing this to let everyone know that although I join PNC last December, It was never about the money for me. It was more about learning how to make videos, learn how to blog, building relatonships, brand myself and to promote my on and off line businesses. This is what I thought I was going to learn from Black Belt Marketing and Web 2.0 I started to realize after about 3 months that Val was not living up to his many promises and it was all about Val making money. I had the opportunity to meet Wes through this process and Wes has help me learn to blog, has taken the time to help with my blog even when he was in severe pain from a fall, Wes spent 20 minutes helping me install a video in my blog. Wes has also taken time with me to help in other online marketing methods. So to some who feel that they have throw money away or down a hole, I myself have found a great freind in Wes Wyatt and this to me is priceless. I will also say that most of the people that did get involved with PNC were not followers but leaders like Wes, looking for similar ways to market themselves or their opportunity, this is what they thought the network was all about. From the beginning they were most likely under the same impression that I was under. I thought that their was going to be much more to the program and that it would evolve into something special. I am sorry that the PNC program did not live up to what it’s real mission was suppose to be about cleaning up the net. I know that most of the people in PNC did not take advantage of people like Val and this is why the program fail because many people may have given their hard earn money to Val but they were not willing to promote a fraud like Val once they realize what was really going on they just walked away to pursue other worthwhile opportunities. I would like to say that I’am still listed in the PNCTV network but am no longer promoting PNC or any other product that Val Smyth is associated with. I will need to find out how to unlist my name from the PNC Network

I was contacted by my Hosting Provider today about this post – telling me that I’m threatening Val’s ability to conduct business on the Internet and that the FBI has also been contacted.
There are at least 3 things wrong with this picture:
Val wouldn’t pay to have his sites work correctly – so the very idea that he’s retained someone to defend his name is ridiculous! Strike One!
Val himself threatens his ability to conduct business on the Internet! I don’t need to help him fail! Strike Two!
And Val can’t even spell F.B.I. – so I’m not remotely worried about that! STRIKE THREE!!!
This is the sort of foolish stuff this con man resorts to. So again – if you’ve searched for his name and found this post – DO NOT participate in anything associated with him (Unless it’s a Class Action Lawsuit against him.)!
It sounds like the CIA,FBI,KGB and someone in the grassy knoll is looking at this site. Scary stuff! lol

this post answered most of my questions about Val . I was recently contacted by Wendy (?) not sure if that was her name but I think it was…. about a new Val product/company…. being that I had recently moved, I was pressed for time… so I requested an email sent to me. Later on, I wondered what happened to Amigo exactly, and also what happened to the H2o mineral bags? I recall Val boasting that you could come back 5, 10 or 20 years from now and he would still be with Amigo because he was faithful (assuming the MLM company was — which as it turned out, “mysteriously” wasn’t) So then I asked what was wrong with Xooma, and Wendy’s answer was very vague. I never followed up and I have since change my phone #
Today I got an email from someone else who was promoting Xooma from way back then and STILL is…. so this reminded me to do a google search on Val and I found your blog. It definately filled in the blanks.
And I too did wonder what happened to that lifetime subscription to whatever that online magazine was called…. I no longer get the subscription and I never spammed anyone. I never had a downline with either product. If I ever figure out how to twitter, I’ll look for you there…. thanx again for the eye opening info. Val B Smite-d (like in the bible smite) may he rest in pieces. it’s not nice to be rude to little people.

Val continues to SPAM the Contact Lists of all his members – making it appear to come from them.
He’s called this a mistake and/or error several times now – yet HIS links always pop up in these mistakes and errors. Funny how that keeps happening huh?
Unless it’s a Class Action Lawsuit against him – don’t sign-up for if it has his name on it!
