As If Mondays Weren’t BAD Enough
ByAs I type this message – here’s what the good ol’ thermometer says:
3°F
Feels Like
-13°F
This is my 2nd Weather Post in as many weeks – and NO I’m not trying to copy my southern namesake Chief Meteorologist WVUA-TV Wes Wyatt – but I am going to talk about why I’m happy to be inside!
As if waking up on a Monday to go to a J.O.B. wasn’t bad enough – this morning people are going to:
- Endure insanely frigid temperatures as well! Which include – but aren’t limited to:
- School being delayed and/or canceled – along with a mad dash to find a baby sitter and or fight with your spouse on who’s going to miss work THIS time! (Man alive – did THAT use to SUCK!)
- Vehicle Batteries as dead as Disco from sitting in the freezing cold! (Late AGAIN?!? Again -sucksville!)
- Dressing in more layers than a Pan of Lassana!
- Being froze half to death walking into work!
My typical Monday Morning?
First and foremost – it’s WARM! I commute about 30 steps to my home office, check my e-mail, read the news, brew some java (Mmmmm – coffee!) and then wake-up our 4 and 5 year olds to watch a little “Lilo and Stitch – The Series” on Playhouse Disney. If there is school – we eat, get dressed, and head out. If there isn’t – as I’m almost sure there won’t be today – we eat, stay in our pajamas, play, and then hit up the ol’ VTech Learning Systems!
Either way – I’m able to Blog and/or Skype away – with (Distracted at times – YES!) or without the kids here! And in BOTH instances – I’m drinking coffee (w/o it having to be on a break) and smiling (Ear to ear baby)!
It’s great work if you can get it – and you CAN!
There’s NEVER been a better time to work from home – and I’d love to show you how!

I wholeheartedly 100% agree. I could not have said it any better
