Prosperity Cast Network and Val Smyth - Update
For those of you following my last post about Val Smyth, The Prosperity Cast Network, and MIM Online Magazine - http://www.weswyatt.com/blog/prosperity-cast-network-and-val-smyth - all I can say is, “WOW!”
I posted it on Friday, August 15th , 2008 - and on Sunday, August 17th, 2008 Val put together a Special Call to discuss me. And to avoid me being able to come on the line and defend myself - Val bypassed the usual Conference Line and used a new one (This from a guy who called ME a coward!). The invitation for the call went out to almost 700 people (Possibly more outside of PCTV that I’m unware of.) - and only 36 People showed up (Well less than 30 if you count me, Val, and the people on the Mod Line there to roast me!).
Val started off the call - 6 minutes late. (But hey - at least he showed up. Something he hasn’t done since the call took place.) - humiliating someone that allegedly posted a comment to the above mentioned Blog Post (It WAS her - but he didn’t know that!). I won’t repeat what he said - it was ridiculous!
Then he went into a marathon of lie after lie after lie! Here are some of the highlights:
- He told everyone I’d went into PCTV and “Victimized” everyone when I “SPAMMED” the entire Back Office. What I DID do was send a message to everyone that were in my Friend’s List. Something he states you can do! He pointed out he hadn’t received it - and he didn’t. I’d removed him from my Friend’s List. NO ONE outside of that list received a message from me - and still haven’t!
- He claimed he built almost my entire organization FOR me. He DID steal what I built - so maybe he was just confused on that one!
- He says I come back from a trip - broke and in need of money and asked him for $5000 to do training. Here’s what REALLY happened. Right before leaving from Nebraska - Val ooVoo’d me and asked, “Have you met anyone out there we can grease?” It’s OK though - I’m sure there are a lot of Millionaires that message people and say that - right? I told him no - and didn’t talk with him until I returned. When I did return - Val asked me if I’d do a Training Call and share everything I’d learned on my trip. I told him I planned on charging for all the information I’d learned over the last 3 weeks - and that I’d do it if I could promote that upcoming site. He said no and then asked if I’d do it for his MIM Online Magazine. Again - I told him I wouldn’t be sharing the information at no charge. I told him he really needed to get the Training Area of PCN up to speed - and that we could work something out. A few days later I told Val I’d set the entire Training Area up for $5000 and would also take calls about it as well as do a weekly training call on it for $250 per week. He immediately veto’d the weekly calls stating he wasn’t going to pay for someone to do conference calls. (Even though that’s NOT what I was talking about doing.) But that he would be willing to pay for the Training Area to be created. HOWEVER - before agreeing to anything he wanted me to draw up the ENTIRE thing detailing each and every part of the training and what needed to be covered. I told him I’d get back with him. I had a bad feeling about trusting him - and told him exactly that. I said, “I feel you’ll take everything I give you, hand it off to someone else to do, and leave me with a sorry about your luck.” Val went into his usual, “How could you say or think that” Routine - and I told him I wasn’t interested in moving on with the idea. That VERY day - another PCN Member (Who had since left PCN - not once - but twice) did the Morning Breakfast Training Call. I called him right after - and he said, “Why am I not surprised to be hearing from you!” I replied with, “I thought you were GONE?” He said, “Well Val asked me if I’d help him out and we’ve been working on putting together a Training Area for the Back Office.” And BAM! My gut feeling was right! Someone else WAS working on the Training Area. (For MUCH less I might add!)
- One of my favorites of the call was when Val went on and on about how much he loves me and how much of good guy I am deep down! He was really broke up and saddened because he said he’d planned on paying for my entire family to go to Cancun for the next Inner Circle Summit. This was the best joke I’d heard in years! It was GREAT news for the other leaders of PCN that are still around though! I’m sure he plans on paying for them and their families too! After all - that would only be fair - right?!? (Unless he built all their organizations too!) So CONGRATS guys! Make sure you clear your calendars and get your passports ready! It appears that Cancun is on Val!!!
- There were all sorts of other lies, smoke, mirrors, and deceptions - but the straw that broke the camel’s back was when Val made the decision to bring my wife into the mix. As with what he said about the woman who commented on my Blog - I won’t go into what he said - but just know it was uncalled for.
Throughout the entire call - Val made an attempt to damage my character. He said that when all of this come out I’d say, “Who? What? Not me? Have a DYNAMITE day!” (My usual sign-off) And said, “Well Wes - the dynamite exploded…”
He couldn’t be more right! It exploded right in HIS face!
Since all of this started -
- Val hasn’t been on ANY MIM or PCN Business Briefing Calls. Even though he sells that (8 Live Calls Per Week in BOTH for a total of 16) as part of BOTH MIM Online Magazine and The Prosperity Cast Network. As a matter of fact - he’s told everyone he’s switching MIM Online Magazine over to being ALL Recorded Calls.
- Val never showed for the 8:30p Sunday Night Training Call. Apparently he was exhausted after telling all the lies on the call he dedicated to me at 6:00p.
- Val didn’t show for either of the Breakfast Club Calls - Tuesday and Thursday (Today). And I’m told the person doing today’s call stated that would be the last Breakfast Club Call. Even though it’s part of the Membership that those calls are provided.
- Val’s telling everyone that he and his family are receiving Death Threats from all of this! I don’t believe that for a second! Val’s wife and kids are GREAT - and if anyone IS doing that I hope they’re brought to justice right along with Val!
If you’re looking at all of this for the first time - avoid The Prosperity Cast Network, MIM Online Magazine, and ANYTHING associated with Val Smyth like the plague!
If you’re still IN either of the above mentioned programs - Market and Brand YOURSELF and distance yourself as far away from Val Smyth as humanly possible! I KNOW what it’s like to believe in and support this loser - but SNAP OUT OF IT and WAKE UP!
And if you’re reading this Val - listen and listen good. It doesn’t matter if you get a sex change and call yourself Valerie! EVERY deal you put together from now until the end of time - I’ll be there! And I’ll tell the people what you did to everyone! And I’m not alone in this. You are done on the Internet buddy boy!

This is a great blog. I listen to that call, and I was amazed at the people who bashed you. Everyone should know there are two sides of the story, and I listen in to give Val a chance to prove to me you were wrong.
Needless to say, he did not.
He acted like a child that didn’t get his way. As for the others on the call, I feel sorry for them. They are just brainwashed.
You know I even Skyped him after the call. Asked him why did you get kicked out of PCN. He told me cross recruiting. Welll if that’s the case over half of PCN members should be gone. I have had SOOOO many people contact me about other businesses. Do I think they should be kicked out? Not at all. I think everybody is just trying to make a dollar, and there is nothing wrong with that.
I couldn’t believe some of the things he said about one lady and your wife. THAT REALLY WAS UNCALLED FOR!!!!
I know after he reads this he might call me the same thing a B**** and a W****. But who really cares…
I have to say. Val really had me snowed. He sent me $180 worth of whole food supplement for free. I thought… wow this is a great man. But I know that is just another tactic to get you hooked.
That being said. Wes, Thank You for being a True Mentor and Friend. I have learned more from you than the PCN and MIM back office combined.

Val DIDN’T kick me out for cross-promoting. That was just an excuse. As a matter of fact - one of the last conversations I had with Val - he mentioned he was going to suggest everyone invest $100 of every $1000 earned in a Private Investment Club called P2P for each of our prospects. So HE was going to be Cross-Promoting ALL the members himself!!!
He kicked me out because I told him I wasn’t going to do everything FOR him any longer.
The Buzzards and Vultures are circling BOTH The Prosperity Cast Network and MIM Online Magazine as we speak! So don’t worry about what Val thinks or says. It’s worth the same thing as his credibility - NOTHING!

All I can say is “WOW”…One of the first people to leave PCN and Val was his very own partner…
I won’t mention names here ever…since I believe that everyone can and WILL speak for themselves…
I haven’t spoke up yet, I do have much to say…AND I will…in time…
I am letting EVERYONE speak first…
for now, this will DO…
I am sure people wonder why his “Top People” like myself quit PCN a while ago…
“I was given the title of QUEEN BEE” by Val shortly after joining PCN because I was doing what the bee does…which is somewhat defying gravity. (a cute story about the bee, very accurate scientific story)
Val talks about it on a training call in the back office, where he speaks about me for just about the entire call…about how I am attracting great people, and all because they were attracted to me-

so there is no denying that he said that…as is the video of he and I in Cancun where he says the same thing.
Yet recently someone asked him about me and all he said to this person is “I have nothing good to say about Karin”
(that’s all in black and white too, isn’t copy and paste a beautiful thing???!!!)
I know Wes, you recall that training call, because you said about me that “Karin Hiebert is ignorance on fire”
lol all in a good way…in a positive way. (and thanks again!) lol
I may not have known what I was doing in the online marketing world, all I was doing was bee-ing me…
Thing is, business is business, online and offline.
I have been in business for well over 30 years…All I did and still do, is use my business knowledge and people skills and apply it to the online business…
what I know to be true is THIS…
online and offline is “Word of Mouth Advertising!” and it spreads like WILD fire online, as fast is it does offline…
in ANY INDUSTRY…
Especially in the “people industry, service industry, and marketing anything industry!
I attracted people to me, NOT PCN, not to Val Smyth, in fact ask that wonderful large group of people about that…they will ALL SAY they JOINED “ME” Karin, and joined what I had to offer them as a human being, and human doing…
they didn’t even KNOW who Val was…
might sound conceited, it just is what it is…
I had even stopped sending people to the “opt in” page…you know the one with the cheezy racing cars which mean nothing to me, or most people anyway…
I simply gave them my sign up link…
Which I had to call Wes for every time because I didn’t even know that!
lol…I am sure you, Mr. Wes Wyatt still laugh at that one!
To this day, I am grateful for the 14 or so people I attracted into my life…
when I left PCN so did they…they were, and are loyal TO EACH OTHER AND TO ME…(that’s a great feeling)
we are all doing well,,,working on wonderful meaningful projects and we are all moving forward!
More so than if we would have stayed with PCN…
and this Global Team has grown to 30+ people since leaving PCN…
Who are we now and what are we doing?
We are doing what we all thought PCN was, or was supposed to be…a learning, growing, sharing, caring and creating, global group of business entrepreneurs moving forward and helping each other to do so.
O.K. so I am using this opportunity now, as a shameless plug for “The Global Alliance” and why not!?
I am proud of us, Proud of who I am, proud of the incredible people which I now work WITH, and thrilled that we are growing at a very fast pace…
(see I did say from day one that I was going to blow this Val chic out of the water!) lol… another story, another blog folks!
we have no site, or fancy splash page or opt in page, we promise nothing…accept for support and sharing…we have no smoke, mirrors or hidden agenda…we are THE Country Club,
we are the “online chamber of commerce”
we are not…

I have to say how grateful I am to have met Val, Wes, and a few others,,,and that I was a part of PCN…
if it weren’t for this experience, I might never have known you all…
I might never have learned “What NOT TO DO”
I might never have seen for myself the truth of what I witnessed with my own eyes, the morning Val did something so unethical and immoral that I had to call him on it!
I was told to mind my own business and that he could do “whatever the F*ck he wanted to with HIS business”
The thing was he was doing this to “our” business.
I recall saying to a few close people that morning that “that was it I WAS DONE!”
And I was!
I was talked into staying around. That Val was doing what he was doing because he was “helping” us…
I knew it wasn’t so…but, I gave him the benefit of the doubt,
I skyped him and said “Fine, Val,,,YOU ARE EITHER an incredibly BRILLIANT man, OR one VERY STUPID man…” “and time will tell”
Well, folks, its time!!!
HE CHOSE STUPID…and I left…

I admire you Karin as you’re truly the real deal. No BS and no facade. Much love!
I admired Val for a very long time but then I saw the truth through the eyes of many, too many in fact to just call it disgruntled members. In fact, word got to me that he was even speaking poorly about me. I don’t know if this was true but if I’m worth talking about then I’m doing something right.
As it pertains to Wes. I liked Wes and admired him until he started speaking poorly about the GUTz community that I’m a part of and he then started to speak poorly about me and I never did anything to Wes nor did I ever speak poorly about Wes in my life until he started his attacks.
I came to understand that he was merely drinking the poison. Once he gave up the poison then I came to realize that Wes is a good guy. He was attacked on a conference line and it was not right, period!
The attack was personal and then Val started to bring in the family of Wes which I thought was so low that not even a maggot would have gone there but I guess a maggot is at a different level.
I can only say this, don’t drink the poison, and don’t be hypnotized by Val. I was involved with PCN and saw the content within first hand and there was none.
I even own ValSmyth.com
I would have thought that Val would have had enough sense to own his own name. I would be willing to sell this domain to Val for the cost of two cups of soup in his neighborhood?
I call it the way it is. I don’t typically go negative but if saving people 2,000 for a pile of sh*t is negative then I’m negative. One thing that I can’t stand is seeing people being taken advantage of, when this happens then I’m stepping out.
If the shoe was on the other foot and Val attacked me and brought in my family then I would become a pit bull and bite his ass. I believe without question that Val attacked the wrong person, Wes is a pit bull and Val better watch is ass because it’s about to be torn up.

I went from a steady diet of poison to crow! And I deserved it! Like you said - I spoke poorly about A LOT of things! And I apologize for doing so!
I do find the fact that you bought ValSmyth.com to be beyond hilarious! Mr. Blah Blah Blah Best Marketer didn’t even secure his OWN name online! And people - including yours truly - are paying this Einstein?!?
Maybe in-between 4 Figure Oil Changes and paying for all the Leaders of The Prosperity Cast Network (And their families) to attend Cancun - he’ll buy it from you!!!

We all were fooled! Now we realize that Val is just a person that can sell Ice to Eskimos . He is very good at convincing people that he is a great mentor and trainer. Did not take long after paying for his membership that we realized we been had. Some, took longer! Others are still drinking the Kool Aid.
Val has alot to learn, He is not even at the same level as us and many of his leaders that promoted his garbage!
He puts himself first , you must put others first. Provide value , and give til you cant give yourself anymore and your business will flourish. Val never gave anything except took. It’s really funny I provide a free business to anyone that offers 10 times more training then PCN.
Karen I agree with you about not putting negatve energy out on the net etc. But as you know recently I did a video ROAST for Val , I think it is our responsability to warn others to stay far away from Val or anything that he is involved with.

When I read the first sentence of your posting, I choked up.
(You have managed to choke me up on more than one occasion.)
I don’t know if you know, or anyone here knows about my childhood history.
One of the things I decided on many, many, years ago was to make a promise to myself that I would be a few things when I grew up…
I promised myself that I would be real, and I would be me. I would be the best me, to me, and to others. I figured that me, is easier to keep track of than being a fake, or a liar, and I would always be truthful no matter what…
I witnessed throughout my life the consequences of what happened to, and continues to happen to those who are anything but honest, or have or maintain integrity, credibility or aspire to create positive recognition.
The work involved that those people must later go through to even remotely recover from lying, cheating, abusing, and hurting people is enormous.
And at best, no matter what they say, or do, after the fact, they might get a few “for- givers…”
(like a ” thank you for- giving me the experience”) I learned and grew…however, I won’t forget it…(why would I even try and forget a learning experience…?)
Every one of us has the ability to live truthfully, to learn, to grow and to move forward and help others along the way.
(in my books this is easier, feels better, and requires less work or effort than the opposite, and just makes common sense)
As I parented my own children I would often remind them that
“when you chose the behavior, you chose the consequences, good or bad…”
I also would remind them that “there is no problem so great it can’t be solved” but why create problems, and consequences, and more problems because you didn’t think through your behavior?
To all the “Val Smyths Out there”
Take a mothers, a business woman’s, and even some “Grandmotherly” Advice… KNOW THIS;
“Whatever behavior YOU choose, YOU Choose the consequences!”
Thanks for All of your kind messages, comments, and inquiries into what and how I am doing now…
You are ALL winners in this, WE ALL ARE…
and in a way, DON’T “forget” any of this… we have learned a lot from, and about each other…

I came to your defense when you emailed me and said you were kicked out of PCN and guess what I am gone too! I tried to log in the back office and could not…LMAO.
I have been in gifting for over three years and still receive HUGE sums of cash every week. I don’t down other peoples business opps and build my own up either.
You simply saw what was better for you and I stated that in the email. Here is his response to me and what I sent to him below that:
Has nothing to do with Wes going into gifting brother…. He spammed our PCTV network trying to undermine people who put money in his pocket and cross recruit other members downlines in PCN…
I had to waste a whole day and listen to people tell me how much of a __________ Wes was for performing such a brilliant stunt…. There are other ethical ways of promoting programs without back stabbing the people who are helping you build your business…
I am sure you would agree….

I’m glad you’re laughing at all this Heywood - because Val is a joke!
His idea of a Lifetime Membership is a joke too!
It’s really too bad Val had to take a WHOLE day to answer questions! Know of course - since he’s the one saying it - it was probably a few minutes out of his day. The Big Hand / Little Hand thing still confuses him. I answered calls and emails EVERY day for 2 straight months while he kept promising MIM Online Magazine was coming. Not to mention all the calls Val neglected to make it to that I stepped and did on his behalf.
And Val talking about ANYTHING “ethical” is the funniest joke of all!
Be glad you’re rid of this con and his “conartistry”!

You are a stand up guy, I can personally say this as I got to be around you for almost 3 weeks at Top Affiliate Challenge.
Your comments are right on and that is why I left PCN back at the end of Feb. 08.
This program has nothing to provide and everything to take from you.
PCN is junk, plain and simple.

It looks like Mr. Smyth is back as he is spamming people using the emails of those that were in PCN.
Be aware and be warned that Val is using private emails that were entered by pcn users and being used as if the pcn associate past and present were sending out emails regarding a business opportunity but it’s Val’s link and it’s Val who is doing it.
Not good!

I was contacted by my Hosting Provider today about this post - telling me that I’m threatening Val’s ability to conduct business on the Internet and that the FBI has also been contacted.
There are at least 3 things wrong with this picture:
Val wouldn’t pay to have his sites work correctly - so the very idea that he’s retained someone to defend his name is ridiculous! Strike One!
Val himself threatens his ability to conduct business on the Internet! I don’t need to help him fail! Strike Two!
And Val can’t even spell F.B.I. - so I’m not remotely worried about that! STRIKE THREE!!!
This is the sort of foolish stuff this con man resorts to. So again - if you’ve searched for his name and found this post - DO NOT participate in anything associated with him (Unless it’s a Class Action Lawsuit against him.)!
